Testimonial
Rachel successfully delivered two significant projects for Seven Locks Housing. The first project was an eco home rehab project designed to develop sustainable improvements for older properties and pilot products that would be both green and customer friendly. The second project was a £6m regeneration and build project to transform a 1980s sheltered scheme into a state-of-the-art extra care scheme.
To both projects Rachel brought excellent development, planning and project management skills. She used her knowledge of building, repairs and maintenance, her project planning and management skills and her tenacity to advise in the development stage and to ensure delivery to quality, time and cost requirements. She was forensic in ensuring contractors' products were fit for purpose and fitting and finish was to a high standard.
Rachel’s people skills were key to the success of her work with us too. She networked and chased effectively on both the client and contractor side to ensure project dependencies were understood and actions delivered in a timely way. As project sponsor I was able to leave projects in her capable hands, confident she would keep me updated and consult me as and when required.
