About us

Optimum Property Consultancy was founded by Rachel Underwood in 2013.

A highly experienced, professionally qualified Project Manager, Rachel blends senior management expertise and authority with a friendly demeanour that allows her to build positive, productive relationships with all manner of project stakeholders.

Equally comfortable reporting to an Executive Board as she is listening to residents at public meetings, Rachel is commercially astute, a skilled negotiator and an excellent communicator.

She brings a very strategic, joined up vision to the projects she manages and clients will enjoy and reap the rewards of a partner-level Project Manager having complete responsibility for their development, from inception through to completion.

Prior to founding Optimum, Rachel spent the previous 20 years in senior management positions for the Bromford Group, Granta Housing Society Ltd and latterly bpha. During her career she has successfully managed mixed tenure residential developments ranging from 5 to 10,000 dwellings, including new settlements, inner city and rural projects.
